BACKGROUND

 

At the March 20,2025 meeting of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), Committee Members discussed recent a traffic incident at the intersection of Wesley St/National Blvd and safety concerns at and around that intersection and along National Blvd between Jefferson Blvd and Washington Blvd. The Committee Members further discussed with staff what changes could be made to improve safety.

 

 

DISCUSSION

 

Public Works staff will provide information regarding what traffic management and/or safety measures have recently been implemented at the Wesley St and National Blvd intersection or along the National Blvd corridor between Jefferson Blvd and Washington Blvd. Staff will also outline any planned improvements and present options for future improvements.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT

 

Any recommended improvements to the Wesley St/National Blvd intersection or along the National Blvd corridor between Jefferson Blvd and Washington Blvd will have fiscal impacts to be determined.
