RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council appoint a member to the Board of Appeals
from the current list of applicants.
BACKGROUND:
A Board of Appeals vacancy has occurred due to the resignation of Board Member
Peter Erdelyi in November, 2005. Only one applicant remains on the current interest
list. The advertisement, which was published in the Culver City News on December
12, 2005, which solicited applicants produced no additional candidates interested in
being considered for the Board. The applicant on the current interest list has
recently confirmed his desire to be considered for this Board of Appeals vacancy.
