BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION: The City is committed to being open and transparent in all fiscal matters. In order to continue this commitment the public is being provided this additional opportunity to comment and offer input on the City Manager s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2014/2015. The City Council and staff look forward to hearing all suggestions and comments from the public this evening. The City Manager s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2014/2015 was formally presented to the City Council during the City Council s regular meeting on Monday May 12 2014. Prior to this the City Council reviewed Departmental Work Programs with each City Department during public meetings held on March 10 2014 March 18 2014 March 24 2014 and March 27 2014.
