Negotiations over an infrastructure bond proposal switched from the conference committee that was assigned the issue to the highest levels of legislative leadership and the governor. There has been an intense effort this week on the part of the Big 5 to meet the March 10 deadline (today) for placing an infrastructure package on the June ballot.
