BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

In a coordinated effort to plan for the 2028 Olympics, Culver City is hosting a “Super” City Council Subcommittee meeting on May 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Veteran’s Memorial Building. The meeting will include City staff and representatives from: multiple City Council Subcommittees, community partners, businesses, and City Commissions and Advisory Committees.

At the April 18, 2024 BPAC meeting, the Committee recommended that Members Jack Galanty and Joel Falter represent BPAC at this and future Olympic planning meetings.

Committee members will have an opportunity to discuss mobility-related planning for the 2028 Olympics, receive community feedback, officially appoint delegates, and make recommendations to its delegates in preparation for the meeting on May 22, 2024.

MOTION
