Fulwood (06/14/07) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council create a City Council Subcommittee to enhance communications between Culver City Sister Cities Committee ( CCSCC ) and the City and then develop recommended guidelines to address needs of both Culver City and CCSCC. Additionally staff recommends that City Council implement an interim modified funding schedule. BACKGROUND: During Fiscal Year 06/07 CCSCC has been working together with staff to address several issues a number of which are still outstanding. Because of the importance of the work being done by the CCSCC and the desire of both CCSCC and staff to benefit from the thoughts and suggestions of City Councilmembers this staff report has been prepared for the City Council s consideration.
