ATTACHMENTS Resolution for the Urban Greening Project Grant 2 Resolution for the Urban Greening Planning Grant Pages 1 2 3 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2010 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CULVER CITY CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE TREE URBAN GREENING GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR THE FUNDING OF THE COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR TREE PLANTING PROJECT. WHEREAS the Legislature and Governor of the State of California have provided funds for the Urban Greening Grant Program (the Program ) under the Safe Drinking Water Water Quality And Supply Flood Control River and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006 (Proposition 84); and WHEREAS the Strategic Growth Council has been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the Program including the establishment of necessary procedures which require a resolution certifying approval of any project application by the applicants governing board before submission to the State; and WHEREAS an applicant if selected will enter into an agreement with the State of California to carry out the selected project. NOW THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Culver City DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: 1. Approves the filing of an application for the Commercial Corridor Tree Planting Project (the Project ); 2. Certifies the City understands the assurances and . certification in the application; 3. Certifies the City will have sufficient funds to operate and maintain the Project consistent with the land tenure requirements...
