RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council receive and file public comment related to the
recruitment for City Manager and direct staff as deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
At the November 3, 2008 City Council meeting, the Council directed staff to include
an item on the December 1, 2008 City Council agenda to receive comments from
the community regarding the selection of a new City Manager. Human Resources
Department staff and the executive recruiter from Avery & Associates will be present
to receive public comments and respond to any questions.
FISCAL ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
