Fulwood (02/06/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council Assign the issue of regional development and traffic to the Economic Development Subcommittee and approve City Staff s participation in the Regional Development and Traffic Mitigation Working Group. BACKGROUND: On January 22 2008 the City Council considered a report entitled: Discussion of Regional Development and Traffic and Proposed Formation of a Regional Traffic Working Group involving participation by the City of Culver City the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles. During discussion of this item the City Council voiced a consensus in support of the formation of this working group. However the issue of which City Council Subcommittee would be assigned this topic was left unresolved.
