Fulwood (10/31/07) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council and Redevelopment Agency clarify the direction provided to staff related to the role of Neighborhood Associations and direct staff as deemed appropriate. BACKGROUND: At the October 22 2007 Meeting the City Council discussed the following item: J 2: A Joint Item to Consider Termination of an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement with Champion Realty Ltd. and to Authorize Preparation of a Specific Plan for Sepulveda Boulevard between Machado Road and the 405 Freeway; Jefferson Boulevard between Sepulveda Boulevard and the 405 Freeway; and Slauson Avenue between Sepulveda Boulevard and the 405 Freeway and Discussion of the Future Role of the Champion Development Citizens Advisory Committee.
