RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) discuss options for a "visioning" process to address new development in the Transit Oriented Development District; and (2) provide direction to City Manager as deemed appropriate.

BACKGROUND:
On March 14, 2016, the City Council directed staff to conduct a visioning process for the Transit Oriented Development District (TOD) around the Culver City Expo Station. The direction included:
* Description of TODs through a visioning process with the community;
* Identification of long term goals for what is proposed to be accomplished through such visioning process;
* Completion of visioning prior to going forward with subsequent TOD projects;
* Identification of real transportation alternatives to address area traffic concerns, including dedications necessary to address them (i.e. dedicated bike lanes); and
* Identification of meaningful BTAP or similar programs to subsidize TOD resident use of Expo.
