BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The City of Culver City has a subscription with Replica Inc, a mobility and data analytics company. Replica provides an online platform that transforms vast, disparate datasets into a holistic picture of mobility, land use, people, and economic activity - and the ways they interact. Queries available on the platform include origin/destination, pass-through travel, and average daily traffic volumes. Query results can be further analyzed by mode, trip characteristic, as well as demographic and socio-economic detail.

Public Works Department Staff will present several Replica data query results relating to pass-through trips across various parts of the City.

Another Replica dashboard, driven by a partnership with Replica and Arity (another data analytics company), overlays various driver events along roadway corridors in the City with high concentrations of pedestrian and bicycle use. Driver events include speeding, near miss collisions, and hard breaking.

Committee members will discuss and provide staff with direction.
