Proposed Resolution Pages 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 2009 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CULVER CITY CALIFORNIA CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY APRIL 13 2010 FOR THE ELECTION OF TWO COUNCILIVIEMBERS OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CHARTER. WHEREAS Section 1502 of the City Charter of the City of Culver City (Charter) designates the City Clerk as the City's Elections Official and as such the City Clerk shall supervise the conduct of City elections and shall perform all other duties assigned by the Charter and State Law to the City's Elections Official; and WHEREAS under the provisions of Section 1500 of the Charter a General Municipal Election shall be held on the second Tuesday in April in each even numbered year. NOW THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Culver City California DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: 1. Pursuant to the requirements of the Charter there is called and ordered to be held in the City of Culver City California on Tuesday April 13 2010 a General Municipal Election for the purpose of electing two (2) members Me City Council of the City for full terms of four (4) years. 2.
