RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (ERHAC) receive report from City Staff regarding the Los Angeles County Human Relations 2023 Hate Crimes Report Presentation slated for September 26, 2023, at 6:00pm at the Culver City Senior Center 4095 Overland Ave, Culver City, Ca. 90232; and (2) if so desired, approve a Special Meeting on September 26, 2023.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
In response to requests from the City Council regarding developing of a Hate Crimes Series, City staff has reached out to the Los Angeles County of Human relations to provide a presentation to the EHRAC regarding current hate crime statistics in Los Angeles County, including the specific statistics for Culver City.
