DISCUSSION: The first budget study session of the Fiscal Years 2008 09 and 2009 10 Proposed Budget occurred on May 5. The Chief Financial Officer gave a presentation to City Council which included a discussion of current economic conditions and provided financial highlights for the City s major funds. Since then there have been four additional Budget Study sessions held on May 12 May 13 May 19 and May 20.
