RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee: (1) receive and file a report from the Youth Advisory Board Ad Hoc Subcommittee; (2) if so desired, discuss and consider approval of the report's recommendations; and (3) determine next steps as deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND
At the September 17, 2024, Special Meeting, EHRAC achieved consensus to create a Youth Advisory Committee Ad Hoc Subcommittee and appoint Former Chair, Member Bano, Members Valverde, Mora Fattorini, and Renteria thereto.
The Youth Advisory Committee Ad Hoc Subcommittee will explore the idea of creating and/or recommending the creation of a Youth Advisory Committee for the City of Culver City.
At the October 22, 2024, Regular Meeting, EHRAC achieved consensus to hear a report from the Youth Advisory Committee Ad Hoc Subcommittee at the November 19, 2024, Special Meeting.
