Fulwood (04/02/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council accept the work performed by the contractor All American Asphalt and authorize filing a Notice of Completion for the Residential Overlay Project P 863. It is also recommended that retention funds in the amount of $57 751.61 be released to the contractor after the thirty five day lien period expires. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: On October 8 2007 the City Council awarded a construction contract to All American Asphalt for the Residential Overlay Project P 863 in the amount of $460 000. Also the City Council authorized the Public Works Director/City Engineer to increase the construction contract with All American Asphalt by an amount not to exceed $115 000 for additional street resurfacing work on Jasmine Avenue between Farragut Drive and LeBourget Avenue and $65 000 for oth...
