Lamont Ewell (07/22/10) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Redevelopment Agency Board (Agency Board) approve the First Amendment to the existing professional services agreement with Modern Parking Inc. (Modern Parking) for parking management services at the Virginia Parking Lot located at 10401 10601 Virginia Avenue for the fiscal year July 1 2010 through June 30 2011. BACKGROUND: On October 6 2008 the Agency Board approved a twenty month contract with Modern Parking to provide parking management services at the Virginia Lot beginning on November 1 2008 and expiring June 30 2010. The Agency Board is now asked to approve an amendment extending this contract for fiscal year 2010/2011 (to June 30 2011). DISCUSSION: On September 2 2006 the Agency Board approved revised parking policies that implemented parking management services at the Agency owned Virginia Parking Lot.
