Fulwood (10/17/07) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council award a construction contract to C.S.Legacy Construction Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to complete the necessary work for the Dog Park Project Phase II P 816. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSIONS: On May 14 2007 City Council approved final plans and specifications and authorization to advertise for construction bids for the City Dog Park Project Phase II. The proposed work includes new landscaping and irrigation walkway weather and shade structures fencing signage drinking fountains and additional lighting. BID RESULTS On October 4 2007 the Deputy City Clerk publicly opened bids. Six Contractors responded with the following bid amounts: CONTRACTOR BID AMOUNTS 1. C.S.
