Orders the Preparation of the Engineer s Report for the Residential Sanitation Service Charge for Fiscal Year 2007/2008; and Declares its Intention to Order the Levy of Annual Assessments for Fiscal Year 2007/2008; and Sets a public hearing for June 11 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers to order the levy of this assessment. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: The City Council establishes the Sanitation Service Charge to ensure that revenues cover the costs of services provided. A Public Hearing will be held not earlier than 45 days after authorization by the City Council and notice of the hearing has been given with a proposed date of June 11 2007. All affected property owners will be mailed a notification of any proposed increased assessment and the date time and location of the public hearing as required by Proposition 218.
