RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission (1) appoint / reappoint PRCS Commission Members as liaisons to various outside associations and City Committees; (2) appoint / reappoint PRCS Commission Members to serve on PRCS Commission Ad Hoc Subcommittees; (3) dissolve any existing Ad Hoc Subcommittee(s) whose purpose has been fulfilled; and, (4) provide updates, if any.
BACKGROUND
At the beginning of the new fiscal year, the PRCS Commission traditionally appoints Members to represent the Commission on various outside Associations and on City Committees. In addition, the Commission reviews the list of Ad Hoc Subcommittees and appoints/reappoints Members, as deemed appropriate. At the PRCS Commission meeting on December 5, 2023, a consensus was reached to reassess which PRCS Commission Members served as liaisons to various outside associations and City Committees as well as on Ad Hoc Subcommittees at the January 2024...
