BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The Public Works Department Mobility & Traffic Engineering Division will provide an update on the Better Overland & Safer Fox Hills Project, which proposes comprehensive mobility improvements along the Overland Avenue corridor and in the Fox Hills neighborhood. The update will include a report on several recent community engagement events, including public feedback received.

Committee members will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss. Committee members may choose to make a recommendation to City Council regarding the project’s conceptual design. If a recommendation is made, it will be included in the staff report for the City Council meeting on May 28, 2024, at which time staff will request approval to apply for a grant to support the project.

MOTION

BPAC may choose to make a motion to recommend the conceptual designs for the Better Overland & Safer Fox Hills Project.
