RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) authorize the acceptance of grant funds from the County of Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Active Transportation Program in the amount of $400,000 for the Robertson Boulevard Bus and Bike Lane Project, PF-024; and (2) approve a related budget amendment to appropriate the Grant Funds (four-fifths vote required); and (3) approve an amendment to the existing construction contract with Toro Enterprises Inc. for the Robertson Bus and Bike Lanes Project, PF-024 in an additional amount of $400,000 for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $1,798,732.
BACKGROUND
On January 20, 2021, the City received confirmation from Metro that Culver City's Metro Active Transportation (MAT) application for pedestrian and bicycle improvements around the Culver City E Line station was selected for funding (Project).
