RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) adopt a Resolution approving the amended Executive Compensation Plan to include updated Executive Management positions effective July 1, 2023; and (2) adopt a resolution approving the amended salary schedule to include updated Executive Management positions in the Executive Management Plan effective May 5, 2025.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Executive Compensation Plan has been updated to reflect all eligible members of the Executive Staff in accordance with the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) rules and regulations.
The current Executive Compensation Plan does not list the classifications of City Manager and City Attorney, which have been added to reflect their correct status effective the original adoption of this agreement on July 1, 2023. . The Assistant City Attorney classification has been added and reflects an effective date of May 5, 2025. The amended Executive Compensation Plan is also updated to reflect the removal of Administrative Services Director and Community Development Director, as those classification titles are no longer utilized.
