Nachbar (07/08/14) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council discuss the nomination process related to the Governor s appointment to Culver City s seat on the Baldwin Hills Conservancy (BHC) Board of Directors and provide direction to the City Manager related thereto. BACKGROUND: The BHC s mission is to acquire open space and manage public lands within the Baldwin Hills area and to provide recreation restoration and protection of wildlife habitat within the territory for the public's enjoyment and educational experience. The BHC has a Board of Directors to guide BHC staff and fulfill this mission.
