Herbertson 5/11/06 City Controller Approval: Marlee Chang 5/16/06 CAO Approval: Jerry Fulwood 5/18/06 RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council authorize an amendment to the professional services agreements with Project Partners Berryman and Henigar and Nickerson Company to support the Public Works Department for public works inspection for an additional amount not to exceed $65 000. The contracts will expire on June 30 2007. BACKGROUND: On October 10 2005 the City Council approved professional services agreements with Project Partners Berryman and Henigar and Nickerson Company for public works inspection services for a total aggregate not to exceed cost of $65 000 and expiring on June 30 2006. The purpose of the agreements was to alleviate the workload of the Public Works Inspector due to the Symantec development and several large utility projects. DISCUSSION: The existing agreements not to exceed cost will soon be exhausted before June 30 2006.
