RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council adopt the proposed ordinance (Attachment No.1) approving Comprehensive Plan P2015-0141-CP, Height Exception P2015-0141-HTEX, and Tentative Tract Map P2015-0141-TTM, to allow a mixed use transit oriented development consisting of a 148 room hotel, approximately 57,700 gross square feet of retail and restaurant uses, 196,300 gross square feet of office use and 200 residential dwelling units located at 8824 National Boulevard (the "Project"), subject to Project conditions of approval.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
