BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: Phase I of the Project On January 28 2008 the City Council awarded a construction contract to Belaire West Landscape Inc. in the amount of $157 000 to complete Phase I of the Culver West Alexander Park Rehabilitation Project. Phase I of the project which has now been completed by Belaire West Landscape Inc. includes a new jogging trail and landscaping; demolition and removal of an existing vacated restroom the softball infield and horseshoe pits; seeding and re turfing of the former softball infield; enlarging the existing group picnic area; installation of a rock climbing play equipment (this apparatus was donated to the Park by Mrs. Andi Alexander); and the installation of a new maintenance traffic control gate.
