RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council (1) accept $30,987.59 in funds from the Culver City Cultural Affairs Foundation (CCCAF) to support the technical enhancement of Veterans Memorial Auditorium; (2) accept $12,294.20 in funds from the CCCAF to support the 2015 Boulevard Music Summer Festival; and, (3) approve the Fiscal Year 2015/2016 CCCAF Budget.


BACKGROUND

The CCCAF was established as a not-profit organization in 2006 with the mission of promoting and supporting the visual arts, performing arts, and the historic preservation programs of the City of Culver City by coordinating and actively pursuing outside funding sources for those programs.

Article II, Section 4 of the CCCAF's Bylaws (Bylaws) provide the following:
