BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
City staff have received several complaints regarding vehicles parked along Wrightcrest Drive along the western side of Blair Hills Park. The main concerns are regarding loitering, noise, and security.
Culver City Parks are generally open from dawn to dusk daily. A sign posted at the park entrance on Wrightcrest Drive indicates the gate is closed from 10:30 pm to 5:00 am. The proposed parking restriction from 10:30 pm and 5:00 am would mirror the gate closure along Wrightcrest Drive between Wright Terrace and Shedd Terrace, see Attachment 1.
Staff from the Parks, Recreation and Community Services, and Police Departments have been consulted and are in favor with the proposed parking restrictions.
