Fulwood (01/31/2007) City Attorney Approval: Heather Iker (01/31/2007) Staff recommends the City Council consider increasing the membership of the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee (CDBGAC) by one seat to be filled by a Youth representative and to direct staff to advertise this vacancy. BACKGROUND: On January 22 2007 by consensus the City Council directed staff to place an item on a future agenda for discussion by the City Council of increasing the membership of the CDBGAC by one seat which would be filled by a Youth representative. DISCUSSION: The CDBGAC meets twice annually (typically in December and/or January) to discuss potential projects to be funded by the City s CDBG allocation. The CDBGAC s recommendations are forwarded to the City Council for final action (typically in January).
