Proposition 50 authorized the State Legislature to appropriate $100 million for the acquisition restoration protection and development of river parkways. These funds may be used for river parkway projects that relate to at least two of the following issue areas; recreation; habitat; to river parkways; and conservation and interpretive enhancements.
