RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council approve an amendment to the existing professional services agreement with Integrated Media Systems (IMS) dba Cashel Corporation extending for on-call support services through June 30, 2023 in an additional amount not-to-exceed $65,000 per fiscal year.


BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

At meetings held on December 8, 2014 and March 28, 2016, City Council granted authorization for the installation of audio visual (AV) equipment in the City Council Chambers and Senior Center respectively. Since 2016, the City established a support agreement with this vendor to perform quarterly preventative maintenance health checks and technical support as needed under administrative authority.

Proper operation of the hardware and related software components and to provide replacements when needed due to failed components has been a priority for the Information Technology Department, especially as heightened need for virtual services, which were accelerated due to COVID-19.
