RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) receive updates on the FY 2020-21 Cultural Affairs work plan, an overview of the proposed FY 2021-22 Cultural Affairs work plan priorities, and provide comments and/or make a recommendation to the Administrative Services Director/Assistant City Manager and the City Manager, as appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
As was the case in prior years, each of the City's Commissions, Boards and Committees have an opportunity to provide input related to the budget and work plan for FY 2021-22 (deadline is March 25, 2021) before the City Manager presents his proposed budget to the City Council on Monday, May 10, 2021. The City Council is scheduled to receive individual department presentations on next year's proposed budget and work plan on May 17-18, 2021. The FY 2021-22 budget is scheduled for adoption on June 28, 2021. CAC members are welcome to attend any of these meetings.
