RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission (1) observe the administration of the Oath of Office to reappointed Commission Member William Rickards; and, (2) select the Chair and Vice Chair of the PRCS Commission.

1-A. ADMINISTRATION OF THE OATH OF OFFICE
On June 13, 2016, the City Council reappointed William Rickards to the PRCS Commission. The Commission Meeting Attending Secretary administers the Constitutional and Loyalty Oaths to the reappointed PRCS Commission Member, both parties sign a duplicate original of the document, and the reappointed Member is presented with one of the signed documents. Commissioner Rickards then takes his seat at the dais.
2. Selection of the Chair and Vice Chair
At the first regular meeting in July of each year, the PRCS Commission selects a Chair and Vice Chair. The Commission does not have a formal policy for the selection of the Chair and Vice Chair.
