BACKGROUND: In 2005 staff determined the roof of the Lindberg Park Stone House was failing and was leaking into various rooms. The roof leaks have resulted in damage to and the growth of mold in some of the restrooms in the building. The mold abatement has been completed and the restrooms are currently being refurbished. As a part of the project certain windows and exterior building walls are also being either repaired/rehabilitated or replaced. The work is being performed by Public Works/Maintenance Operations Crews and contractors. DISCUSSION: Public Works Department staff have solicited bids from three roofing contractors to the complete the proposed roofing improvements.
