Nachbar (03/29/12) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the final plans and specifications and authorize the publication of a notice inviting bids for construction of the Sewer Main Lining Rehabilitation Project (Phase III) P 906 and Lining of Abandoned Force Main on Braddock Drive Project P 939. BACKGROUND: Most of the sewer mains contained in this project are located along the rear property line easements where they are difficult to access and maintain. These sewer lines were constructed between the 1920 s and the 1940 s and the video tape inspection showed need for rehabilitation. Approximately 6.5 miles (out of the total 90 miles of city sewer mains) are proposed to be rehabilitated on this sewer lining project.
