RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee 1) receive a report from the Community Contributions Ad Hoc Subcommittee regarding the Community Contributions Awards; 2) determine next steps; and 3) provide direction to staff as deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the October 25, 2022 regular meeting, the committee achieved consensus to agendize this item to receive a report from the Community Contributions Ad Hoc Subcommittee regarding the Community Contribution Awards for FY 22-23. Staff met with the subcommittee on November 1, 2022 to discuss plans to update and distribute the nominations flyer, changes to the City website, nomination form due date, and tentative dates for awards presentation by the City Council in 2023. At the December 13, 2022 special meeting, the subcommittee will provide a report to the committee.
