RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council adopt respective resolutions approving side letters of agreement with the Culver City Police Officers' Association, Culver City Police Management Group, Culver City Firefighters' Association, and the Culver City Fire Management Group relating to filming and special event assignments.


BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION

Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) ? 11.14.035 requires film permittees to retain Culver City Police Department personnel to be present at all times during filming activity and Culver City Fire Department personnel to be present during filming activity, as required by the Fire Code, all at the permittee's sole cost and expense.
