Fulwood (10/01/08) RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Redevelopment Agency approve Amendment Number 1 to the current Professional Services Agreement with Psomas for design survey services related to the Washington/National Project (Project) in an amount not to exceed $18 500. BACKGROUND On August 18 2008 the Agency approved a Professional Services Agreement with Psomas for design services related to the Washington National project. The scope of this contract encompassed a boundary survey that will indicate the extent of any easements identify encroachments outline underlying utilities and provide monument indicators at various perimeter points around the site. The survey is currently being prepared relative to the Triangle site and Metro Right of Way. In considering future streetscape improvements in the area however the Public Works Department has requested that additional areas near the Project be surveyed. The proposed scope will build off the Washington National boundary survey and enlarge the overall area that will be studied.
