Mayor calls on staff for a brief staff report. 2. Mayor opens the public hearing to allow for public comment if any. 3. Mayor seeks a motion to continue the public hearing to February 11 2008. The following procedures will be carried over to the evening of February 11 2008: 4. Receive comment from the applicant and public. 5. Mayor seeks a motion to close the public hearing after all testimony has been presented. 6. Council discusses the matter and arrives at its decision. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: There is a potential that all City Councilmembers may not be in attendance at this meeting.
