Baker) (01/25/10) City Manager Approval: Mark Scott (01/21/10) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council (1) accept the work performed by Bobco Metals Inc.; (2) authorize the filing of Notice of Completion; and (3) authorize release of the retention payment in the amount of $6 090 after the expiration of the thirty five day lien period for the Skate Park Fence Replacement Project P 830. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: On April 13 2009 the City Council awarded a construction contract to Bobco Metals Inc. The project consisted of replacing the existing chain link fence with a rigid wrought iron fence system at the City s Skate Park. Bobco Metals Inc. has successfully completed the work. There is a five year warranty on the work product for any potential defects. The construction management and inspection was performed by staff.
