RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC): (1) receive the final report from the Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; (2) dissolve the Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; (3) form a new Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, if desired; and (4) appoint members to the 2026 Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee.


BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee was established to research, implement, and continue a City Innovation Award Program to encourage employees and/or departments to contribute towards increased efficiency, improved quality of life for Culver City residents, reduced costs and/or generated revenue, or demonstrate distinguished performance based on department goals/outcome measures.

The Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee is currently comprised of Finance Advisory Committee Chair Lachman and members Di Vincente, Rajiv, and Thakur.
