Cole Assistant Chief Administrative Officer as Alternate to the Independent Cities Risk Management Authority (ICRMA) Governing Board and rescinding Resolution 2005 R072. BACKGROUND: The Independent Cities Risk Management Authority (ICRMA) is a Joint Powers Authority which provides risk management programs for liability workers compensation and property and earthquake coverage for its 29 member cities. The City of Culver City has been a member of the ICRMA since May 20 1986. The ICRMA Bylaws require an elected official be appointed by resolution as the Member of the Governing Board of the ICRMA (Attachment 1). An Alternate and substitute Alternate who may be staff members may also be appointed by resolution to act in the primary Member's absence. Governing Board Meetings occur every other month during business hours (10am to 12pm). Representation at Board and committee meetings is essential for Culver City to provide input into the structure and direction of ICRMA programs.
