Authorize the release of the retention funds in the amount of $15 588.32 after the expiration of the 35 day lien period. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: On March 26 2012 the City Council approved a construction contract with J.D.C. Inc. (JDC) to construct the Ballona Creek Rain Garden Project P 497. The Ballona Creek Rain Garden Project consisted of the construction of two rain gardens engineered dispersal chambers curb and gutters catch basins and drainage swales.
