Nachbar (11/17/10) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council: (1) accept the work performed by FS Construction (2) authorize filing a Notice of Completion and (3) authorize the release of retention funds in the amount of $14 193.80 after the expiration of the 35 day lien period for the Culver City Park Field Leveling Project P 639. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: On August 23 2010 the City Council awarded a construction contract to FS Construction. The project consisted of re grading and leveling the eastern end of the middle upper sports fields in Culver City Park adjustment of the height of existing irrigation heads and installation of new irrigation lines.
