BACKGROUND: Over the past several months at prior City Council meetings and through correspondence with City Council Members the organization Coalition for Smoke Free Living in Culver City requested the City Council consider the issue of regulating smoking in multi unit housing and possibly adopting an ordinance in this regard. At the City Council meeting of May 13 2013 there was a consensus to agendize this matter for discussion.
