RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) (1) draft letters from the Disability Advisory Committee to supporters of 2026 Disability Awareness Month; and (2) approve and authorize the transmittal of the letters to the intended recipients.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Staff have prepared this report to give the committee an opportunity to draft the letters, approve, and authorize the transmittal. Draft letters from 2025 are provided with this report for reference as Attachment 1. The committee may also use this time to decide the groups and/or individuals to whom they wish to send the letters.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this discussion.
