Fulwood (04/13/06) RECOMMENDATION That the City Council adopt Resolutions to extend the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Culver City Management Group and Culver City Employees Association and Rescind Resolution No 2005 R059 and Resolution No 2005 R076 respectively. BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION The Memorandum of Understanding expired with the Culver City Management Group on October 2 2005 and with the Culver City Employees Association on December 31 2005. The City has since been in continuous negotiations with both bargaining groups. Further all parties have verbally agreed to extend these existing MOU s covering wages hours and other terms and conditions of employment until a new successor MOU has been ratified by both parties or by June 30 2007 whichever occurs first. It is understood by all parties that negotiations will continue in good faith to achieve a new agreement on salaries and other economic and non economic issues.
