Nachbar (05/21/14) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council approve a Professional Services Agreement with Integrated Media Systems (IMS) for Phase I work to upgrade and renovate the Audio/Visual (AV) equipment for the Mike Balkman Council Chambers and authorize a Budget Amendment in an amount not to exceed $40 000 from the General Fund reserve. A budget amendment requires a 4/5ths vote. BACKGROUND: The current AV system that services the Mike Balkman Council Chambers and broadcast room has components which are either original to the Chambers construction in 1995 or were installed during a partial update in 2006.
